🏍️ Rumbling Roads & Birthday Paws: A Harley Shoot in Champagne 🍾
This shoot was all about celebrating two things close to Vincent’s heart—his gleaming gold flame Harley Davidson and his tiny, loyal sidekick, Unik, who just turned two! 🥳
When Vincent rolled up with his new ride, we couldn’t resist the idea of creating something epic to mark the moment. And what better place than the rolling hills of the Champagne vineyards in France?
We started with a solo portrait of the Harley perched proudly at the top of a track, the vineyards stretching behind it. That winding path? It felt like the perfect metaphor for the journey—both literal and personal—that brought us here. Add in some moody skies and golden-hour magic, and boom: instant cinematic vibes.
For the technical side, we took a page straight out of lighting guru Joel Grimes’ playbook. His techniques were spot-on for bringing out the bike’s textures, reflections, and raw power without losing the soul of the scene.
The final touch? Vincent with Unik, his long-haired black chihuahua, striking a pose together. Two legends, one frame, and a birthday shoot that was anything but ordinary. 😎
🤰🏼 Bumps, Belly Rubs & Big Sister Bella 🐾
They say never work with kids or animals… but what about bumps and animals? Challenge accepted! For this maternity session, the stars of the show were a glowing couple and their gorgeous pup Bella—soon to be promoted to “big sister.” 🤗
From the start, it was clear Bella wasn’t just a pet—she was family. She jumped proudly into every frame, tail wagging, clearly aware something special was happening (even if she couldn’t quite put her paw on it). We wanted the photos to reflect not just the anticipation of a new arrival, but also the bond this trio already shared.
Was it chaotic at times? Absolutely. A wiggly dog, treats galore, and a belly covered in (dog-friendly!) peanut butter—but it was also so worth it. We played with soft light, cozy poses, and a few whimsical touches to create images full of warmth and a bit of cheeky charm.
Bluebell Dreams & Vixie’s Scouting Mission 🪻
That’s it! Spring has arrived, and our bluebell sessions are in full swing! Daily walkies mean we go into full-on treasure hunt mode—scouting every hidden corner of the county for that perfect forest scene. The goal? To find the kind of magical bluebell patch that feels straight out of a fairytale, where your dog can star in their own timeless, fine art portraits with just the right touch of springtime joy.
This year, we had a little help on our recce missions: our very own four-legged assistant, Vixie-Mooz! With ears perked and nose to the ground, she took her job seriously—sniffing out the best trails, posing like a pro, and (let’s be honest) chasing the occasional squirrel along the way. We put together a short behind-the-scenes video of her in action so you can see how the magic starts before the camera even clicks.
The result? Forest backdrops bursting with color, playful pawprints through the petals, and a vibe that’s equal parts elegant and joyful. Just how we like it.
From golden Harleys and birthday pups to growing families and fairytale forests, this past month has been full of heart, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
